Environment and Waste Management
Lila Lace & Fabric, which cares about all kinds of savings that will minimize the effects on the environment during production for a more livable world and future, acts with an environmentalist philosophy as management. Lila Lace & Fabric, which has a strict attitude towards decreasing water resources, waste chemicals that harm nature, and factors that adversely affect natural life, practices serious environmental and waste management.
The biomass boiler investment, commissioned in 2024, is a concrete reflection of this approach. The facility, with a daily combustion capacity of 30 tons, operates using local and renewable resources such as hazelnut shells, walnut shells, almond shells, olive pits (prina), wood chips, and pine cones. In this way:
• A significant reduction in CO₂ emissions is achieved,
• Fuel costs are lowered,
• Ash content is reduced to below 3%,
• The local economy is supported.
Lila Lace & Fabric, which provides effective water and energy savings with state-of-the-art machine investments, works with an effective wastewater management system, controls and reports wastewater in routine periods within the framework of binding laws, and supports natural life to the fullest. At this point, the company, which has also established its treatment plant by making a great investment, exhibits a friendly attitude towards nature regarding wastewater. In addition, chimney emission measurements are monitored regularly, and care is taken to stay within the limits determined by law. Reflecting its respect for the environment to its stakeholders, Lila Lace & Fabric presents collections containing environmentally friendly, sustainable products using recycled and environmentally friendly raw materials.
